the breed has nothing to do with it unless your talking about the white trash idiot that has no business owning an animal. the only reason dogs attack people is the lack of resposibilty on the owners part.
Whoa, let’s not go overboard here, a dog’s breed clearly has something to do with its behavior. However, a responsible owner will rarely have problems with dogs of any breed.
Al, you’re wrong. Pit Bulls are bred to be attack dogs and have been for years. I get so sick of people defending dogs like that and blaming the owners. Absolutely, that piece of shit white trash woman is more to blame…. BUT, the pit bull is a vicious dog and it was demonstrated in this case and many other cases like it.
If a Golden Retriever tried to do this, for example, even a slightly built woman could simply hold its mouth shut. Pit Bulls are far stronger than average dogs and, as is evidenced over and over again, are more bloodthirsty and bred to be nasty.
Regardless, the OWNER should do their part in keeping their pet in control at all times, by teaching it obedience and discipline. Like it was said, Not all pit bulls attack people, that shows there are some owners that know how to control their pets. This woman KNEW how to control her dog, but chose not to and let the attack happen. You cant blame the dog for following orders and defending its master. Sure its a dog bred to be nasty but it can be taught not to be.
Dude, Pit Bulls are on steriods they suck, its also there owners falt, if you train it to be mean, its going to be mean, so its mostly the fat lards falt.
FIRST of ALL lets get something straight here everyone. THE AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER WASN’T BRED FOR AN ATTACK DOG IT WAS BRED FOR PIT FIGHTING TO BE ANIMAL AGGRESSIVE & PEOPLE FRIENDLY ! SO FOR THE MISINFORMED ( J MONEY ), PITBULLS AREN’T MEANT TO BE TRAINED FOR GUARD DOGS, THOUGH THEY CAN BE TRAINED FOR PERSONAL PROTECTION WHICH IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM GUARD DOG TRAINING. BUT BESIDES THAT CAUSE I’M GETTING OFF THE SUBJECT, DON’T BLAME THE BREED, BLAME THE DEED BECAUSE PITBULLS ARE TRAINED TO BE THAT WAY BY THIER OWNERS. SO SUCK IT
